To go along with the blog article about the pros of moving to the city, we are finishing off our series with the pros and cons of living in the suburbs or country. There are a lot of advantages to both. Here are just a few things that we have thought of, but there are plenty other things that may be important to you that you should write down.

The suburbs – The suburbs offer more room than the city does. There is a lot more land for homes and yards. Suburbs offer a lot more room for larger families. Space is a major advantage that suburbs have over the city life.

Suburbs also tend to be less hectic. They tend to be more relaxed. If you like your space, and enjoy taking a break from the busy city life, the suburbs are a great option.

The cons with suburb life are that there still might not be as many good options nearby as the city has. They may have to travel a little ways in order to get to their favorite store. Commuting to work or the city is also necessary, since the suburbs are a little ways away from the jobs and work.

The country – The country can be another great moving option that your Utah movers can move you to. The country also offers more space for its inhabitants. You can grow your own food and might even be able to have your own livestock.

The country allows you to be self-sufficient.  You don’t necessarily have to rely on the stores to get your food. As long as you have some form of food storage, you can be self-sufficient if you need to be so you don’t have to travel as far to the store, etc.

The main disadvantage with living in the country is that it can be hard to get used to farming and other work. It takes a lot of hard work and patience to get farming up and going.  You will also be isolated when you live in the country, which can be frustrating to children or family members who want to be social.
